Mount Victoria and the Chert Quarry

Park cars at the base of the western side climb of the Pass of Victoria then walk northeast up a spur on the north west flank of Mount Victoria, inspecting an old Chert Quarry site and ruins before making our way t the top of Mount Victoria and enjoying spectacular views. The follow a very narrow and heavily dissected ridge to the south. Many deep slots and even more stunning views will be our reward. Return by contouring down the western side of Mount Victoria and Mitchells Ridge. About 3km, 200m climb
