Cave Swamp Creek
Description:
Has its headwaters in Goochs Crater this section was named Vanishing Creek as it disappeared underground. It flows due south for 1.5km into the Wollangambe River. Named by Nicholas Gooch on a 2 day bushwalk 31 December 1978 to 1 January 1978. He named the creek after Cave Swamp Crater re named Goochs Crater in memory of Nicholas Andrew Gooch (28.3.1947 -18.7.2003). Ref: Upper Blue Mountains Conservation Society Inc Newsletter.
