Sandy Gully
Description:

Is a 3km non perennial creek rising on Glen Davis Road. It is the next gully south west of Nuggety Gully. It flows south east into Coco Creek. Named by Alexander McLean, a local resident who found gold in this gully, the largest nugget being 30 ounces. Ref: Carne, Joseph. The Kerosene Shale Deposits of New South Wales, 1903, p. 132.
