Name:
Tunnel Point
Description:
is a point of land on top of the cliff line directly above the northern side of the Glowworm Tunnel, Newnes. This natural edifice commands views over Tunnel Creek to the west, which are framed by multi-tiered amphitheatre-like walls that in turn frame a view of Donkey Mountain set in harmony in the Wolgan Valley. Directly below and beyond sight are the residual remains of the Wolgan Valley Railway and the entrance of the Glowworm Tunnel. Named on a bushwalk, 3 February 2017 by Michael Keats, Yuri Bolotin and Brian Fox.
